The short version
AstroNat asks for personal details so we can create your chart, map your places, manage your account, and improve the product.
Your birth details are private by default. We do not sell your personal data. We handle personal data in line with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).
Information you give us
Account details: your email address, login method, and basic account ID.
Birth details: your name, birth date, birth time, birth city, and birth coordinates when available.
Travel inputs: cities you search, dates, goals, relationship inputs, and reading choices.
Support messages: anything you send to support, surveys, forms, or feedback.
Information created by AstroNat
We create charts, maps, scores, readings, saved searches, generated text, and app activity records from your inputs.
We may create analytics events so we can understand onboarding, checkout, reading usage, errors, and feature performance.
How we use information
We use your information to run AstroNat, create readings, save your profile, process payments, send service emails, prevent abuse, and improve the app.
We may use aggregated or de-identified data to understand product performance. This should not identify you.
Payments
Payments are handled by Stripe. Stripe may receive your email, customer ID, purchase details, billing details, and payment information.
AstroNat does not store full card numbers.
Affiliates and referrals
AstroNat may use affiliate or referral tools, including Tolt, to track referrals, rewards, conversions, and commissions.
If you arrive through an affiliate link, we may process referral IDs, campaign data, checkout status, and commission records.
Service providers
We use providers for hosting, database, authentication, analytics, email, payments, maps, monitoring, support, and affiliate tracking.
These providers process information for AstroNat so the product can work. We do not allow them to use your information for their own unrelated marketing.
Where your data is processed
AstroNat and its providers may process data in countries outside Singapore, including where our hosting and AI providers operate.
When data is transferred overseas, we take reasonable steps so it receives a standard of protection comparable to the PDPA.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and you can withdraw consent at any time, by writing to support@astronat.io.
If you withdraw consent or ask us to delete your data, we may no longer be able to provide some parts of AstroNat. Some records may also need to be kept for legal, tax, security, or fraud-prevention reasons.
Retention
We keep account, profile, reading, payment, and support records for as long as needed to run AstroNat, meet legal duties, prevent abuse, and resolve disputes.
When we no longer need your personal data for any business or legal purpose, we remove or de-identify it.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no internet service is perfectly secure.
Please use a strong password and tell us quickly if you think your account is at risk.
Marketing
We do not bundle marketing consent into signup. If we ask to send marketing, it is a separate choice, and you can opt out at any time.
Service emails, like account, payment, security, and product access messages, may still be sent when needed.
